Blue Light Blocking Glasses

Lenses for Screen Safety

Blue light blocking lenses filter out harmful blue light emitted from digital screens. Studies show blue light can disrupt sleep and cause eyestrain.

Prescription Lenses

Lenses for Vision Correction

These lenses are designed to help you see clearly. Whether you're nearsighted, farsighted, or suffer from presbyopia, prescription lenses will keep your vision sharp.

Progressive Lenses

These multifocal lenses gradually change from near to farsighted vision correction as you move up the lens, providing more complete vision correction than standard bifocal lenses.

Prism Glasses

Prism glasses feature lenses designed to correct double vision caused by underlying medical issues. If you need them, your prescription will feature numbers telling us how to shape your lenses to correct your vision.

Bifocal Lenses

Bifocals feature two distinct prescriptions, with a line separating them across the middle of the lens. These are the most common type of multifocal lenses.

Lens for Reading

If you are farsighted, indicated by a (+) on your prescription, you're looking for this type of lens. Eyewear with this type of prescription are also known as reading glasses.

Lenses for Nearsightedness

If you are nearsighted, indicated by a (-) on your prescription, these are the lenses for you. Choose high index lenses If your prescription is on the stronger side.

Transitions®

Light Intelligent Lenses™

Transitions® lenses darken when outdoors and return back to clear when indoors. They block 100% of UV light and help protect against harmful blue light from digital devices, screens and the sun. Available in 6 different colours.

Lens Coatings

Protect your eyes & lenses

Lens coatings add extra useful features to your eyewear. Take a look at all the different ways you can customize your lenses to suit your needs.

Polarized Coating

Lenses with a polarized coating block reflected glare. Glare is harsh reflected light from flat surfaces, like road surfaces or water.

Anti-Reflective Coating

An anti-reflective coating prevents your lens from obscuring your eyes. It also improves visual acuity by allowing more light to reach your eyes.

Anti-Scratch Coating

This coating makes your lenses durable and resistant to scratches. This coating makes your lenses last a lot longer, and comes as standard on all the lenses we offer.

Lens Index

The thickness of your lens

The lens index measures the thickness of eyeglass lenses. The higher the number the thinner the lens. Strong prescription lenses are naturally thick, but high index lenses allow them to be thinner than standard lenses.

Ordering prescription glasses online at GloryEyewear is extremely simple. Simply browse our extensive selection of styles, pick a color you like, enter your prescription and complete your order. Make sure you're using an up-to-date prescription for your lenses, since nobody likes blurry vision!

How much do prescription lenses cost?

The cost of GloryEyewear prescription lenses depends on a few factors, including extra features, lens type, and the lens index. A frame with an average prescription usually comes to around $39, which is much cheaper than you would typically find in a brick-and-mortar store. That's why, in our humble opinion, we're the best place to shop for eyewear! What are the different types of prescription lenses?

There are a few different types of prescription lenses, and the type you'll need depends on your vision. Single vision lenses correct either far or nearsightedness, while bifocal and progressive lenses correct both distance and near at different parts of the lens.

Can you find your eye prescription on your glasses?

An important and very common question! You can't usually find your prescription numbers on the glasses frame you own. The numbers you'll find on your frame are the measurements of the frame itself in millimeters. They show the lenses' width, the distance between the lenses and the length of the temple arms, respectively.

Are prescription sunglasses more expensive than prescription glasses?

Prescription sunglasses at GloryEyewear usually cost around the same price as prescription eyeglasses. You can even add a sunglass lens tint to standard eyeglasses lenses, so that any style you like can suit your needs!

How long does it take to make lenses for glasses?

GloryEyewear frames usually take around 7 to 14 business days to be shipped to your door. This time-frame includes production, quality control, and shipping.
